Our mission is to glorify God and loving thy neighbor is a primary way to honor God. How important is it for us to get along with one another? In God’s eyes it’s very important!

For those of you who are parents, how would you like it if someone mistreated your children?

Could you be friends with someone who did that? Wouldn’t your entire relationship be in jeopardy over that kind of action? Would not there be serious damage until reconciliation occurred?

Well, our heavenly Father is no different.

We are God’s children and when we mistreat or have a disagreement with one another, it troubles God. It bothers Him so much, he wants us to stop whatever we are doing, and get it straightened out.

That’s often not easy to do. Most of us do not enjoy conflict or are willing to undertake the difficult process of working out a problem. But it needs to be done and the longer you wait, the harder it gets.

So, don’t let a disagreement fester. It only leads to more trouble.
